- Penton2 CONTENT SEC1 - EQUIPMENT / MATERIAL DESCRIPTION SEC2 - STANDARDS SEC3 - REQUIRED DOCUMENTS SEC4 – PROPOSAL CONDITION SEC 1 EQUIPMENT / MATERIAL DESCRIPTION 1 GENERAL This Material Requisition covers the technical requirements for the design, engineering, manufacturing, supply, delivery FOB, testing, supervision to erection, start up, commissioning, contractual spare parts and training of: N° 2 Pelton turbines complete with auxiliaries N° 2 Turbine inlet vales of spherical type complete with auxiliaries N° 2 Turbine speed governors complete with auxiliaries N° 2 Generators horizontal or vertical shaft according the The equipment will be installed in the Monga Power Station located in Panama Seller supply shall include all the items required in this specification as well as all the other accessory and additional equipment that the Seller deems to be necessary for a good performance and safe operation of the supplied package. Each Pelton turbine will be directly coupled with an electric generator supplied as package with the turbine Seller shall design the Pelton Turbines and their auxiliaries and shall be responsible for the design of the whole turbine /generator lineshaft The Pelton Turbines will discharge in a non-pressurized channel. 2.REQUIREMENTS 2.1 GENERAL NOTES The design, manufacturing, testing, inspection, painting, packing, supply and workshop testing of all equipment / materials included in the scope of work shall be in accordance with this Material Requisition, attached contractual specifications and applicable codes and standards. Eventual deviations or modification are acceptable provided sufficient explanation to justify them Under no circumstances, any of the statements of this specification or of the purchase order waive the supplier to provide all services and supplies necessary to fulfill its contractual obligations. Anyhow the compliance with standards, Codes and Specifications does not relieve the Vendor for his responsibility to furnish equipment, materials and accessories of proper design and manufacturing as well as fully suitable for all specified duties, operating conditions and guaranteed performances. Purchaser approval of any Vendor or Vendor sub-supplier drawings / documents shall not relieve the vendor from any of his responsibility for errors or omissions which may exists, even though Work has been done in accordance with such approved drawings and documents. Where such errors or omissions are discovered even later, they shall be made good by the Vendor at his sole expense irrespective of any approval of the Purchaser. The approval or acceptance by the Purchaser of any inspection or test does not relieve the vendor from his responsibility regarding the guarantees and will not however prejudice the right of the Company to reject the supply if it does not comply with specifications or, once erected, it does not give complete satisfaction in service. 2.2 SPECIAL Equipment shall be designed for indoor installation inside to a power house with forced ventilation, installation elevation will be 800,00 masl approx. The operating temperate will range from 0° to 50°C and the maximum relative humidity will be of 90% Equipment shall be designed for continuous operation and parallel connected to a national network 3 CONTRACT LANGUAGE (1) All contractual documents related to supply must be written in the two languages here below indicated : - English X - Spanish contract technical dwg 4.CONFLICTING REQUIREMENTS, in case of contract Any deviations from the requirements of the documents applicable to the project, shall be clearly pointed-out and submitted to the Purchaser for Approval before starting the manufacturing of the related pieces. In case a deviation is not approved by the Purchaser, the Seller will have to follow the requirements of the documents applicable to the project. Any impact on cost / schedule relating to this will be Seller responsibility. 5.GARANTEES 5.1 GENERAL Approval of design, documents, inspections and tests does not affect the contractual rights of the Purchaser, and under no circumstances waives contractual obligations of the Seller especially with regard to design, performance, construction and materials. The Seller is fully responsible for: his entire scope of work providing correct interfacing data at the boundary limits of its supply conformity of his scope of delivery and services to this specification and to all codes and standards herein mentioned. 5.2 TECHNICAL GUARANTEES 5.2.1OVERALL The Seller guarantees: faultless construction and appropriate material perfectly satisfactory design and function correct choice of material and painting that precludes corrosion and erosion, attacks, which might affect function and efficiency The Seller shall bear full responsibility for the technical accuracy, constructability, and functionality under extreme operating conditions of the systems until expiration of the guarantee period of the plant, system compatibility with other interfacing equipment and compliance with all applicable codes, standards as well as for meeting the delivery deadlines. 5.2.2DESIGN PERFORMANCE The Seller guarantees the quoted performances and the pitting and erosion performances in accordance with IEC 60-609-2-97 5.3SITE GENERAL CONDITIONS The Supplier shall take special precautions in the selection and protection of materials and equipment against deterioration due to the effects of humidity, temperature and dust. Particular attention must be paid to selection and protection of electronic components, instrumentation and temperature/humidity sensitive equipment. 5.OVERALL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE COMPLETE TURBOGENERATOR UNIT 6.1 PELTON TURBINE The hydro turbines shall be Pelton type fed by river water at the conditions described in the attached documents. The turbines will be normally operated in parallel with the grid; the normal operating mode is at the maximum load consistent with the available flow, head and other operating control parameters as mentioned in the attached specification Each turbine is equipped with an inlet valve of the butterfly type, whose technical features and operating mode shall be described with the offer Each turbine will be directly coupled to a 4,16 KV electric generator (included from the supply)with brushless or selfexcited system and shall be fitted with all the necessary supervisory and control devices to enable remote start up, operation and shutdown from the control room. 6.2 SPEED GOVERNOR Each turbine is equipped with its own speed governor whose technical features and operating mode shall be described in the offer 7. SCOPE OF SUPPLY Scope of supply will consist of, but not limited to: Equipment and materials N° 2 Pelton Turbines as per attached characteristic, each one consisting of but not limited to: Pelton wheel Turbine box Turbine shaft complete with bearings Bearing housing cooling coils Cooling water instruments as required Turbine iinjectors and deflectors Servomotors Rigid coupling with generator and relevant coupling bolts Vibration monitoring system (Option) Anchor bolts for installation on foundation First filling of lubricants. The Seller is fully responsible for: his entire scope of work providing correct interfacing data at the boundary limits of its supply conformity of his scope of delivery and services to this specification and to all codes and standards herein mentioned. 5.2 TECHNICAL GUARANTEES 5.2.1OVERALL The Seller guarantees: faultless construction and appropriate material perfectly satisfactory design and function correct choice of material and painting that precludes corrosion and erosion, attacks, which might affect function and efficiency The Seller shall bear full responsibility for the technical accuracy, constructability, and functionality under extreme operating conditions of the systems until expiration of the guarantee period of the plant, system compatibility with other interfacing equipment and compliance with all applicable codes, standards as well as for meeting the delivery deadlines. 5.2.2DESIGN PERFORMANCE The Seller guarantees the quoted performances and the pitting and erosion performances in accordance with IEC 60-609-2-97 5.3SITE GENERAL CONDITIONS The Supplier shall take special precautions in the selection and protection of materials and equipment against deterioration due to the effects of humidity, temperature and dust. Particular attention must be paid to selection and protection of electronic components, instrumentation and temperature/humidity sensitive equipment. 5.OVERALL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE COMPLETE TURBOGENERATOR UNIT 6.1 PELTON TURBINE The hydro turbines shall be Pelton type fed by river water at the conditions described in the attached documents. Anyhow the compliance with standards, Codes and Specifications does not relieve the Vendor for his responsibility to furnish equipment, materials and accessories of proper design and manufacturing as well as fully suitable for all specified duties, operating conditions and guaranteed performances. Purchaser approval of any Vendor or Vendor sub-supplier drawings / documents shall not relieve the vendor from any of his responsibility for errors or omissions which may exists, even though Work has been done in accordance with such approved drawings and documents. Each Pelton turbine will be directly coupled with an electric generator supplied as package with the turbine Seller shall design the Pelton Turbines and their auxiliaries and shall be responsible for the design of the whole turbine /generator lineshaft The Pelton Turbines will discharge in a non-pressurized channel. 2.REQUIREMENTS 2.1 GENERAL NOTES The design, manufacturing, testing, inspection, painting, packing, supply and workshop testing of all equipment / materials included in the scope of work shall be in accordance with this Material Requisition, attached contractual specifications and applicable codes and standards. Eventual deviations or modification are acceptable provided sufficient explanation to justify them Under no circumstances, any of the statements of this specification or of the purchase order waive the supplier to provide all services and supplies necessary to fulfill its contractual obligations. Anyhow the compliance with standards, Codes and Specifications does not relieve the Vendor for his responsibility to furnish equipment, materials and accessories of proper design and manufacturing as well as fully suitable for all specified duties, operating conditions and guaranteed performances. Purchaser approval of any Vendor or Vendor sub-supplier drawings / documents shall not relieve the vendor from any of his responsibility for errors or omissions which may exists, even though Work has been done in accordance with such approved drawings and documents. Where such errors or omissions are discovered even later, they shall be made good by the Vendor at his sole expense irrespective of any approval of the Purchaser. The approval or acceptance by the Purchaser of any inspection or test does not relieve the vendor from his responsibility regarding the guarantees and will not however prejudice the right of the Company to reject the supply if it does not comply with specifications or, once erected, it does not give complete satisfaction in service. 2.2 SPECIAL Equipment shall be designed for indoor installation inside to a power house with forced ventilation, installation elevation will be 800,00 masl approx. The Seller is fully responsible for: his entire scope of work providing correct interfacing data at the boundary limits of its supply conformity of his scope of delivery and services to this specification and to all codes and standards herein mentioned. 5.2 TECHNICAL GUARANTEES 5.2.1OVERALL The Seller guarantees: faultless construction and appropriate material perfectly satisfactory design and function correct choice of material and painting that precludes corrosion and erosion, attacks, which might affect function and efficiency The Seller shall bear full responsibility for the technical accuracy, constructability, and functionality under extreme operating conditions of the systems until expiration of the guarantee period of the plant, system compatibility with other interfacing equipment and compliance with all applicable codes, standards as well as for meeting the delivery deadlines. 5.2.2DESIGN PERFORMANCE The Seller guarantees the quoted performances and the pitting and erosion performances in accordance with IEC 60-609-2-97 5.3SITE GENERAL CONDITIONS The Supplier shall take special precautions in the selection and protection of materials and equipment against deterioration due to the effects of humidity, temperature and dust. Particular attention must be paid to selection and protection of electronic components, instrumentation and temperature/humidity sensitive equipment. 5.OVERALL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE COMPLETE TURBOGENERATOR UNIT 6.1 PELTON TURBINE The hydro turbines shall be Pelton type fed by river water at the conditions described in the attached documents. DOCUMENTS DUE DATES As minimum requirement, the documents to be issued by Seller are listed in the following Paragraph 3.4. The due dates will be mutually agreed during the final negotiation, before the issue of the Purchase Order (P.O.). The final “Document List” shall be issued by Vendor two (2) weeks after the issue of the P.O. With reference to above Paragraph 3.4, Seller is informed that in case the documents shall not be issued within the contractual due date, the penalties indicated in the purchase order will be applied. Eventual deviations or modification are acceptable provided sufficient explanation to justify them Under no circumstances, any of the statements of this specification or of the purchase order waive the supplier to provide all services and supplies necessary to fulfill its contractual obligations. Anyhow the compliance with standards, Codes and Specifications does not relieve the Vendor for his responsibility to furnish equipment, materials and accessories of proper design and manufacturing as well as fully suitable for all specified duties, operating conditions and guaranteed performances. Purchaser approval of any Vendor or Vendor sub-supplier drawings / documents shall not relieve the vendor from any of his responsibility for errors or omissions which may exists, even though Work has been done in accordance with such approved drawings and documents. Where such errors or omissions are discovered even later, they shall be made good by the Vendor at his sole expense irrespective of any approval of the Purchaser. The Seller is fully responsible for: his entire scope of work providing correct interfacing data at the boundary limits of its supply conformity of his scope of delivery and services to this specification and to all codes and standards herein mentioned. 5.2 TECHNICAL GUARANTEES 5.2.1OVERALL The Seller guarantees: faultless construction and appropriate material perfectly satisfactory design and function correct choice of material and painting that precludes corrosion and erosion, attacks, which might affect function and efficiency The Seller shall bear full responsibility for the technical accuracy, constructability, and functionality under extreme operating conditions of the systems until expiration of the guarantee period of the plant, system compatibility with other interfacing equipment and compliance with all applicable codes, standards as well as for meeting the delivery deadlines. 5.2.2DESIGN PERFORMANCE The Seller guarantees the quoted performances and the pitting and erosion performances in accordance with IEC 60-609-2-97 5.3SITE GENERAL CONDITIONS The Supplier shall take special precautions in the selection and protection of materials and equipment against deterioration due to the effects of humidity, temperature and dust. Eventual deviations or modification are acceptable provided sufficient explanation to justify them Under no circumstances, any of the statements of this specification or of the purchase order waive the supplier to provide all services and supplies necessary to fulfill its contractual obligations. Anyhow the compliance with standards, Codes and Specifications does not relieve the Vendor for his responsibility to furnish equipment, materials and accessories of proper design and manufacturing as well as fully suitable for all specified duties, operating conditions and guaranteed performances. The Seller is fully responsible for: his entire scope of work providing correct interfacing data at the boundary limits of its supply conformity of his scope of delivery and services to this specification and to all codes and standards herein mentioned. 5.2 TECHNICAL GUARANTEES 5.2.1OVERALL The Seller guarantees: faultless construction and appropriate material perfectly satisfactory design and function correct choice of material and painting that precludes corrosion and erosion, attacks, which might affect function and efficiency The Seller shall bear full responsibility for the technical accuracy, constructability, and functionality under extreme operating conditions of the systems until expiration of the guarantee period of the plant, system compatibility with other interfacing equipment and compliance with all applicable codes, standards as well as for meeting the delivery deadlines. 5.2.2DESIGN PERFORMANCE The Seller guarantees the quoted performances and the pitting and erosion performances in accordance with IEC 60-609-2-97 5.3SITE GENERAL CONDITIONS The Supplier shall take special precautions in the selection and protection of materials and equipment against deterioration due to the effects of humidity, temperature and dust. Particular attention must be paid to selection and protection of electronic components, instrumentation and temperature/humidity sensitive equipment. 5.OVERALL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE COMPLETE TURBOGENERATOR UNIT 6.1 PELTON TURBINE The hydro turbines shall be Pelton type fed by river water at the conditions described in the attached documents. The Seller is fully responsible for: his entire scope of work providing correct interfacing data at the boundary limits of its supply conformity of his scope of delivery and services to this specification and to all codes and standards herein mentioned. 5.2 TECHNICAL GUARANTEES 5.2.1OVERALL The Seller guarantees: faultless construction and appropriate material perfectly satisfactory design and function correct choice of material and painting that precludes corrosion and erosion, attacks, which might affect function and efficiency The Seller shall bear full responsibility for the technical accuracy, constructability, and functionality under extreme operating conditions of the systems until expiration of the guarantee period of the plant, system compatibility with other interfacing equipment and compliance with all applicable codes, standards as well as for meeting the delivery deadlines. 5.2.2DESIGN PERFORMANCE The Seller guarantees the quoted performances and the pitting and erosion performances in accordance with IEC 60-609-2-97 5.3SITE GENERAL CONDITIONS The Supplier shall take special precautions in the selection and protection of materials and equipment against deterioration due to the effects of humidity, temperature and dust. Particular attention must be paid to selection and protection of electronic components, instrumentation and temperature/humidity sensitive equipment. 5.OVERALL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE COMPLETE TURBOGENERATOR UNIT 6.1 PELTON TURBINE The hydro turbines shall be Pelton type fed by river water at the conditions described in the attached documents. The turbines will be normally operated in parallel with the grid; the normal operating mode is at the maximum load consistent with the available flow, head and other operating control parameters as mentioned in the attached specification Each turbine is equipped with an inlet valve of the butterfly type, whose technical features and operating mode shall be described with the offer Each turbine will be directly coupled to a 4,16 KV electric generator (included from the supply)with brushless or selfexcited system and shall be fitted with all the necessary supervisory and control devices to enable remote start up, operation and shutdown from the control room. 6.2 SPEED GOVERNOR Each turbine is equipped with its own speed governor whose technical features and operating mode shall be described in the offer 7.
